Guidelines for Using Hypermix® Products
Directions for Use
- Clean the wound thoroughly using normal saline.
- If there is any debris, discharge, or non-viable tissue, it should be cleaned and removed carefully depending on the condition of the wound.
- Apply a thin layer of Hypermix® oil or gel over the entire wound area, including the edges.
- Avoid using an excessive amount of the product; a light layer is sufficient to cover the affected area.
- When needed, the wound may be covered with a suitable gauze dressing to help protect it from contamination and friction.
- Reapply once daily, or as directed by the veterinarian depending on the condition of the wound.
- Change the gauze daily or according to the amount of discharge, and clean the wound again with normal saline at each dressing change.
- Avoid exposing the wound to direct sunlight, and keep the area clean and protected.
