Equine wounds are uniquely challenging: large surfaces, constant movement, and a dirty, fly-prone environment. Below are cases documented with testimonies from vets and farriers from RI.MOS., showing real healing with Hypermix®, supplied by Gestiva in Saudi Arabia. Educational; not a substitute for veterinary assessment.
Case 1: Horse — traumatic head wound

A traumatic wound on the head. (Private testimony)
Protocol: Hypermix® oily formulation once daily, alternating with gentamicin ointment — resolution in 12 days.
Case 2: Akhal-Teke horse (24 y) — lacerated wound

An elderly horse of a rare breed with a lacerated wound. (Testimony: Dr. Barbara Cavedo — exotic & wildlife vets society)
Protocol: Saline lavage then Hypermix® cream/gel daily — resolution within one week.
Case 3: Mare — right hind shin injury

Injury with a skin flap; sutured distally, the proximal part left to heal by second intention, with antibiotic and anti-inflammatory therapy. (Testimony: Dr. Roberto Valli)
Protocol: Dressing changed every 4–5 days applying Hypermix® gel after cleansing.
Case 4: "Hesperia" pony (6 y) — chest wound

A sutured chest wound; after 7 days of dehiscence it was treated with Hypermix®. Notably, a fly-repellent effect was observed during treatment. (Testimony: Dr. Emanuela Reinach)
Protocol: Hypermix® oily formulation once daily after dehiscence — resolution in one month.
Why it matters
In horses, large wounds, contamination and flies complicate healing; a product combining healing support with a repellent property saves time and reduces complications. Gestiva supplies the Hypermix range (gel, oil, spray, gauze) inside the Kingdom with technical support.
